Exhibition at Robert A. M. Stern

2022 RAMSA Travel Fellow
New York, NY

As the 2022 RAMSA Travel Fellow, I traveled to Sicily to document the reuse of tuna fishery buildings.

My fellowship proposal, titled “Mapping Memory: Linking the Landscape of Sicily’s Tuna Fisheries,” was linked to my graduate architecture thesis research. During the summer of 2022, I traveled to Sicily to document nine tuna fisheries and understand the ways they have been adapted for contemporary uses.

In March 2023, I presented on my research at the Robert A. M. Stern architecture office in New York. (To see the video of my presentation, click here.) I also organized an exhibition in the office to display my drawings and photographs, shown below.
